本推荐作法的目的是为一级一类、一级二类区域的石油设施电气设备的安装和选择提供指南。在制定本推荐作法时，一直遵循全国电气规程给出的基本定义，本推荐作法只和为指南，它仍需要运用正确的工程判断。

Scope

This recommended practice applies to the regional classification of temporarily or permanently installed electrical equipment, that is, it applies to hazardous areas where flammable gases and vapors mixed with air exist in normal atmospheric environments. Normal atmospheric conditions are when the reference point atmospheric pressure is 101.3kPa (14.7psia) and the temperature is about 20°C (68^(°)F). If the upper and lower changes have a negligible impact on the explosiveness of flammable materials. The following are not included in this recommended practice: a) Flavored natural gas fuel line systems used for cooking, heating, air conditioning, washing machines, and similar equipment. b) Disasters such as blowouts and container bursts.
