Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for pipeline design of carbon steel pipe networks, pipeline system installation design requirements, inspection of pipeline components, pipe fitting production and pipeline installation, welding, pressure testing and purging, and project acceptance. This standard applies to the design, construction and acceptance of new construction, expansion and reconstruction projects of carbon steel pipe networks on beach and sea structures. Beach and sea structures include steel fixed platforms, artificial islands and beach and sea shore platforms.
