Scope

This standard specifies the design, construction and acceptance of the internal and external anti-corrosion coatings of solvent-free polyurethane coatings for pipelines. This standard is applicable to: a) The design, construction and acceptance of the anti-corrosion coating inside the solvent-free polyurethane coating of steel and cast iron pipelines whose transmission medium is crude oil and refined oil, water, and natural gas and whose temperature is not greater than 90°C. b) The design, construction and acceptance of the external anti-corrosion coating of solvent-free polyurethane coating for above-ground steel and cast iron pipelines that are suitable for buried and surface-coated anti-UV coatings with temperatures not exceeding 100°C.
