Scope

This standard is applicable to X-ray, γ-ray film inspection and digital imaging inspection and quality inspection of steel pipeline girth welds in direct contact with natural gas media with high hydrogen sulfide content and wall thickness of 2mm ~ 50mm in natural gas gathering and transportation pipelines, battlefields and purification equipment projects. Grading. This standard does not apply to radiographic inspection of composite steel pipe welds, nor to radiographic inspection of oil and gas pipeline pipemaking welds.
