3 Technical requirements for well site preparation

3.1 Principles for well site selection

3.1.1 The placement of drilling equipment shall be determined according to natural environment, rig type and drilling technology.

3.1.2 The location of well site shall avoid unfavorable geological sections such as landslide and debris flow, and the well site preparation, if located in the beach, shall not be carried out in the flood and tidal periods.

3.1.3 Maximize the use of the terrain, minimize the occupied area, and facilitate the drilling operation.

3.1.4 Meet the safety requirements for prevention of flood, blowout, explosion, fire, poison, and freeze.

3.1.5 Be favorable to pollution prevention, waste recycling and treatment in time, and the sound and light shield.
