Scope

This standard specifies the methods and requirements for determining rock polarizability and natural potential values in the laboratory time domain and for determining the cation exchange capacity of muddy sandstone using the ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid-ammonium acetate method. This standard is applicable to the determination of rock polarizability and natural potential values in the laboratory time domain and the CEC value of argillaceous sandstone using the ammonium acetate method.
