Scope

This standard specifies the contents and requirements for the operation, maintenance and overhaul of valves used in oil and gas pipelines, and lists the judgment and cause analysis of common faults. This standard applies to all valves on oil and gas pipelines except small-diameter valves, regulating valves, self-operated pressure regulating valves and safety valves in equipment accessory systems.
