Scope

This standard includes seamless steel pipes, centrifugally cast pipes and welded alloy line steel pipes with good corrosion resistance. The main products are steel pipes processed with grooves. If plain-ended steel pipe with straight or other special ends is required, special requirements for the pipe ends shall be submitted to the purchaser and manufacturer for negotiation. This standard covers steel pipes with nominal sizes ranging from 25.4mm to 1066.8mm. The steel grades included in this standard are: LC30-1812; LC52-1200; LC65-2205; LC65-2506; LC30-2242 a) The purpose of this standard is to provide better corrosion resistance and is suitable for transporting natural gas in the oil and natural gas industry , water and crude oil steel pipe standards. b) Although steel pipes complying with this standard are mainly circumferentially butted on site, the manufacturer is not responsible for on-site welding. c) The size code refers to the nominal size of the steel pipe. The range of steel pipe sizes is given in the provisions of this standard. Unless specified as nominal size, these sizes refer to the outer diameter. Limitations and ranges for outside diameter dimensions also apply to the corresponding nominal dimensions.
