Scope

This standard specifies the basic concepts, structure and design principles of petroleum industry information system data elements. This standard applies to the design and establishment of information systems at all levels in the petroleum industry, including: enterprise information model; data model; data flow chart; database design (schema, files, tables); interface specifications; computer programs.
