Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the site selection, design, construction, operation management, and maintenance of LNG receiving stations. This standard applies to LNG receiving stations that are newly built, renovated or expanded with full-capacity cryogenic liquefied natural gas storage tanks in coastal areas of my country that receive and unload LNG by ships. The construction of LNG receiving stations with other tank types can be implemented as a reference. This standard does not apply to LNG receiving stations constructing underground storage tanks in frozen soil.
