Technical requirements for key equipment

1. Vibrating screen

The mesh selection needs to be adjusted according to the density of the drilling fluid. When installing, ensure that the screen box inclination is more than 3°. When used in parallel, a distribution box must be configured, and the screen surface coverage should be maintained at 65%-80%.

2. Centrifuge

The differential needs a 150-hour run-in period, and the temperature rise of the main bearing shall not exceed 45°C. When processing weighted drilling fluid, the drum speed should be controlled at 1600-2000rpm.


Implementation Suggestions

Case: After adopting the new standard, an oil field improved its solid phase removal rate by 22% by optimizing the underflow port size of the desander (adjusted from Φ100mm to Φ75mm).

Recommendations for priority implementation:

  1. Establish equipment lubrication files and refer to Appendix B for regular maintenance
  2. Configure infrared thermometers to monitor bearing temperature in real time
  3. Implement vibration monitoring for key equipment such as shear pumps

Technology evolution analysis

This standard systematizes the troubleshooting method for the first time (Appendix CK), and adds maintenance specifications for equipment such as mud guns. In terms of electrical safety, it is clearly required that explosion-proof equipment comply with the GB 3836 standard, reflecting the industry's emphasis on intrinsic safety.
