Scope

This standard provides the steps for conducting thermal simulation experiments on source rocks, oil shale, coal rocks and other organic matter-rich sediments, kerogen, and crude oil in a gold tube closed system; pyrolysis product gases, light hydrocarbons, and pyrolysis products Analysis methods for asphalt; quantitative calculation procedures. Specifies analytical quality requirements. This standard is applicable to thermal simulation hydrocarbon generation experiments of source rocks, oil shale, coal rocks and other organic matter-rich sediments with organic carbon content greater than or equal to 2%, as well as kerogen and crude oil, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of pyrolysis products.
