1. Key tests for air brakes

Typical test process:

  1. Ball test: Use φ20.2mm (passenger car)/φ25.4mm (truck) standard ball to detect pipeline patency
  2. Leakage test: Maintain pressure for 1min, passenger car ≤10kPa/truck ≤5kPa
  3. Brake sensitivity: Braking must be triggered before reducing pressure by 40kPa, GK type local reduction ≤50kPa

2. Special requirements for electro-pneumatic brakes

Typical problem handling

Case:When the 120/120-1 brake motor stage relief is abnormal, check:

  1. Whether the pad thickness meets the requirements of Table 4 (3-6mm for empty parking space)
  2. Whether the contact gap of the sensing valve is within the range of 3±1mm
  3. Whether the brake pipe length exceeds 24m (special treatment is required)
