Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
| Technical module | 2000 version | Main improvements of the 2012 version |
|---|---|---|
| Structural system | Two independent standards | Integrate probe and instrument indicators to form a three-in-one technical framework |
| Digital flaw detector | Not involved | New digital function requirements such as data playback, overspeed alarm |
| Environmental adaptability | Basic requirements | Refine temperature stability (±5%/10℃) and electromagnetic compatibility performance |
Detailed explanation of key technical indicators
4.2 Probe performance requirements
The standard makes differentiated provisions for transverse wave probes (2-2.5MHz) and longitudinal wave probes (3.5-5MHz):
- Refraction angle error: 70° probe requires -3°≤Δβ≤0° to ensure the detection rate of rail head core damage
- Beam width: 0° probe ≥25mm, 70° probe ≥60mm to ensure coverage
- Temperature adaptability: The working range of ultra-low temperature probes is -40℃~40℃
Implementation and application suggestions
Key points for on-site maintenance
According to the inspection rules in 6.2 of the standard, it is recommended to establish a three-level maintenance system:
- Daily inspection: focus on checking the attenuation value of the probe protection boot (≤8dB)
- Quarterly calibration: verify the distance amplitude characteristics (ΔW≤12dB)
- Annual type inspection: including 19 full index tests such as vibration and drop
Standard evolution analysis
Compared with the 2000 version, the 2012 standard mainly reflects three major technical upgrades:
- Test system reconstruction: added 5.3.10 digital sampling error detection method
- Safety performance enhancement: insulation resistance increased from 0.5MΩ to 1MΩ
- Defect detection quantification: clarify the full defect detection requirements of GTS-60 test blocks other than 15° crack
