Introduction
Standard Overview and Technical Evolution
This standard was jointly developed by the China Academy of Railway Sciences and companies such as Beijing Erqi Rail Transit Equipment, and for the first time systematically standardized the design and manufacturing requirements for roadbed treatment vehicles. Compared with the earlier standards, new key technical indicators such as high altitude adaptability (5100m) and mixed material handling have been added.

Key system requirements
1. Working device
Standard requirements: ballast excavation chain must have a two-way speed regulation function (0-80m/h), and the left and right arms can independently lift with an accuracy of ±5mm. Typical cases show that the failure rate of equipment using a hydraulic proportional control system is reduced by 40%.
2. Safety system
- Dual brake system: air brake + parking brake
- The hydraulic system must be equipped with an anti-drag device and a motor anti-vacuum device
- All sharp edge rounding radius ≥ 2mm (Clause 4.1.4)
Innovative technical specifications
For the first time, the mandatory configuration requirement of material mixer was proposed (4.2.12.9) to achieve automatic proportioning of new and old ballast. Through comparative tests, the mixing uniformity was improved to more than 92%.
Implementation Suggestions
- When purchasing, the static strength of the bogie frame should be verified (TB/T 1335)
- Daily maintenance requires regular inspection of the conveyor belt tensioning device (once a week)
- Altitude operations require additional testing of the diesel engine power attenuation (Appendix B of GB/T 25337)
