Key Technical Requirements

The standard stipulates that the wheel set measuring machine must be equipped with a simulated standard wheelset that can be traced back to the national benchmark. The allowable deviations of its key parameters are:

  • Flange height: ±0.03mm
  • Wheel set inner distance: ±0.1mm
  • Brake disc center distance: ±0.15mm

Equipment Selection Guide

According to Article 4.2 of TB/T 3476-2017, the measuring machine model should follow the CLD-XXX-Enterprise Logo coding rules:

  1. The initials H/K/J/D correspond to freight cars/passenger cars/locomotives/EMUs respectively
  2. It is recommended to select extended models with serial numbers above 300
  3. Give priority to equipment with remote fault diagnosis function

Maintenance points

Article 5.12 of the standard emphasizes: The calibration results are valid for a long time and recalibration is only required in the following cases:

  • Adjustment of the measurement mechanism structure
  • Replacement of the simulated standard wheelset
  • Continuous abnormal measurement data
