Key Technical Requirements
The standard stipulates that the wheel set measuring machine must be equipped with a simulated standard wheelset that can be traced back to the national benchmark. The allowable deviations of its key parameters are:
- Flange height: ±0.03mm
- Wheel set inner distance: ±0.1mm
- Brake disc center distance: ±0.15mm

According to Article 4.2 of TB/T 3476-2017, the measuring machine model should follow the CLD-XXX-Enterprise Logo coding rules:
- The initials H/K/J/D correspond to freight cars/passenger cars/locomotives/EMUs respectively
- It is recommended to select extended models with serial numbers above 300
- Give priority to equipment with remote fault diagnosis function

Article 5.12 of the standard emphasizes: The calibration results are valid for a long time and recalibration is only required in the following cases:
- Adjustment of the measurement mechanism structure
- Replacement of the simulated standard wheelset
- Continuous abnormal measurement data
