Scope

Using indoor plasma air sterilizers can maintain the health and cleanliness of living spaces, and these devices are applicable in various indoor environments such as homes, offices, hospitals, schools, public places, cars, transportation systems (such as trains and planes). Indoor plasma air sterilizers do not require consumables, have low power consumption, and can efficiently eliminate viruses, bacteria, and carcinogenic chemicals like formaldehyde indoors. They possess significant market potential and are positively meaningful for the widespread prevention of infectious diseases.

The formulation and implementation of a group standard for "Indoor Plasma Air Sterilizers" standardizes the research and development and technical application standards for relevant products, which is positively meaningful for society-wide preventive measures against predictable seasonal influenza and variant epidemic outbreaks. Meanwhile, the promotion of this standard will open up new ideas, methods, and directions in researching airborne disease prevention, contributing to enhancing the core competitiveness of related technology enterprises. The main technical content includes:
1. Terms and Definitions
Provides definitions for terms relevant to indoor plasma air sterilizers such as "plasma," "fine particulate matter," "sterilizer," among others, and stipulates that the terms defined in the "Disinfection Technical Standards" also apply to this standard.
2. Product Classification
Sterilizers can be categorized based on their technical implementation methods into ozone sterilizers, pulse xenon light sterilizers, filter mesh sterilizers, and plasma sterilizers. This standard provides technical requirements for plasma sterilizer products.
