Scope
Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Double-low rapeseed The erucic acid content in rapeseed oil and the glucosinolate content in rapeseed cake shall meet the requirements of NY/T415, where the erucic acid content in rapeseed oil shall be ≤5%, and the glucosinolate content per gram of rapeseed cake shall be ≤45μmol. 3.2 High-quality rapeseed Select rapeseed varieties with high yield, good stress resistance and meeting the requirements of NY414, and rapeseed with high oil content and meeting the requirements of NY/T415 obtained by green cultivation technology. 4 Variety selection Select high-yield, dense-tolerant, disease-resistant, lodging-resistant, double-low, high-quality rapeseed varieties that have passed the national non-major crop variety registration and are suitable for local planting conditions; double-low rapeseed varieties resistant to clubroot are preferred in clubroot risk areas. Seed quality should meet the requirements of GB4407.2 and NY414. T/HBLS0011—2023 2 5 The planting site should be selected in an area with good isolation from other closely related cruciferous crops, concentrated and continuous, convenient drainage and irrigation, and complete farmland infrastructure. The fields with non-cruciferous crops as the previous crop should meet the requirements of NY/T846. 6 Mechanical direct seeding 6.1 The sowing period is from mid-September to late October. 6.2 Seeding amount Sowing before September 30, with a seed amount of 250g~300g per 667m2; sowing from October 1 to 20, with a seed amount of 300g~350g; sowing after October 20, with a seed amount of 350g~400g. 6.3 Application of base fertilizer Apply a special formula fertilizer for rapeseed with N-P2O5-K2O of 25-7-8 (containing boron) or a similar formula. The quality of the fertilizer should meet the requirements of NY/T1112. The recommended dosage is shown in Appendix A. The technology of simultaneous sowing of seeds and fertilizers and one-time fertilization shall be adopted in accordance with the relevant provisions of DB42/T1456. 6.4 Seeding requirements 6.4.1 Requirements for rapeseed precision combined seeders: the missed seeding rate shall not be higher than 2%, the coefficient of variation of the consistency of sowing amount in each row shall not be higher than 7%, the coefficient of variation of the consistency of row spacing shall not be higher than 5%, and the qualified rate of sowing depth shall not be lower than 80%. 6.4.2 A rapeseed precision combined seeder with a suspended spraying device shall be used to complete stubble removal, rotary tillage, fertilization, furrowing, sowing, covering soil, and closed weeding at one time. 6.4.3 The sowing row spacing is 20cm~25cm, and the sowing depth is 10mm~25mm. 6.5 Furrowing and ploughing compartments The width of the furrowing and ploughing compartments shall correspond to the operating width of the rapeseed planting and harvesting machinery, and the compartment width shall be 1.8m~2.0m. The side ditch, waist ditch and surrounding ditch are matched. The side ditch is 25cm~30cm wide and 20cm~25cm deep; the waist ditch is 30cm~40cm wide and 25cm~30cm deep; the surrounding ditch is 30cm~40cm wide and 30cm~35cm deep. 7 Seedling raising and transplanting 7.1 Seedling raising and transplanting should be adopted in case of drought, waterlogging and other weather conditions, which make it difficult to sow at the right time. Select a field that has not been planted with rapeseed and other cruciferous crops for more than 2 years as the seedbed. The surface of the ridge should be flat, the topsoil should be fine, and the seedling age should not exceed 45d. Seedling bed management should meet the requirements of NY/T1290. 7.2 Application of base fertilizer Apply rapeseed special formula fertilizer with N-P2O5-K2O of 25-7-8 (containing boron) or similar formula. The quality of fertilizer should meet the requirements of NY/T1112. The recommended dosage is shown in Appendix A. T/HBLS0011—2023 3 7.3 Transplant 8,000 to 10,000 plants per 667 m2. 8 Field management 8.1 The pesticides used for closed weeding should comply with the requirements of NY/T393. For recommended pesticide types and dosages, see Appendix B. 8.2 Field management during the seedling stage 8.2.1 The pesticides used for stem and leaf weeding should comply with the requirements of NY/T393. For recommended pesticide types and dosages, see Appendix B. 8.2.2 The pesticides used for pest control should comply with the requirements of NY/T393. For recommended pesticide types and dosages, see Appendix B. 8.2.3 Controlling growth and promoting vigor For fields with too high density during the seedling stage, spray chlorpyrifos on the leaves to enhance lodging resistance. For fields with vigorous seedlings during the winter solstice, spray chlorpyrifos on the leaves to control growth, prevent early stalking and early flowering, and reduce the impact of frost damage. Spray growth regulators such as New American Star and Brassinolide around the winter solstice to enhance frost resistance, prevent frost and promote growth. 8.3 Field management in the middle and late stages 8.3.1 Topdressing Apply nitrogen fertilizer to weak seedlings before spring, and apply 2.5kg to 5.0kg of urea per 667m2. Spray potassium dihydrogen phosphate and boron fertilizer on the leaves during the flowering period. 8.3.2 Disease prevention In the early flowering period of rapeseed, use high-efficiency and low-toxic pesticides such as prochloraz and fluopicolide to spray with plant protection drones or boom sprayers to prevent and control sclerotinia disease. For fields with severe sclerotinia disease, continue to spray prochloraz, fluopicolide, sclerotinia, carbendazim and other fungicides during the flowering period for prevention and control, and rotate the drugs to improve the prevention effect. The use of plant protection drones and boom sprayers shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of NY/T3213 and GB/T24677.2. See Appendix B for recommended types and dosages of pesticides. 8.4 Ditch cleaning and drainage Clean the side ditches, waist ditches and surrounding ditches in time after rapeseed sowing and before closing the rows to ensure convenient irrigation and drainage and no water accumulation in the fields after rain. 9 Mechanical harvesting 9.1 Mechanical combined harvesting When rapeseed flowers about 35 days after the end of flowering, when all the siliques of the rapeseed in the whole plot turn yellow or brown in appearance and are basically the same in maturity, or when the moisture content of the grains is 18% to 22%, use a rapeseed combine harvester to operate. The quality of combined harvesting operations should meet the requirements of NY/T3632. 9.2 Mechanical segmented harvesting: About 30 days after the final flowering of rapeseed, when the appearance of all siliques of rapeseed in the whole plot is yellow-green to light yellow, the main sequence siliques turn yellow, the seed coat turns from green to reddish brown, or the moisture content of the seeds is 35% to 40%, first use a rapeseed cutter and sun-dryer to cut and lay them out in order. After drying for 5 to 7 days or when the moisture content of the seeds drops to 12% to 15%, use a picking thresher to operate. The quality of segmented harvesting operations should meet the requirements of NY/T3632. 10 Production Files 1.1 Rapeseed producers should establish production files to record information such as rapeseed varieties, planting methods, field management and harvesting methods. Production files are kept for 2 years, and the recorded content is shown in Appendix C. 4 T/HBLS0011—2023 5 Appendix A (Informative) Recommended amounts of nutrients and formula fertilizers at different fertility levels in Hubei high-quality rapeseed producing areas Table A.1 gives the recommended amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (pure nutrients) at different fertility levels and yield targets for Hubei high-quality rapeseed.
