Article 1. In order to regulate pressure piping installation permission operation, this Regulation is formulated by referring to " Regulations on Safety Supervision over Special Equipment" (hereinafter referred to as "regulation") and "Decision of the State Council on Establishing Administrative Licenses for Administrative Examination and Approval Items Really Necessary to be Retained " (Decree of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China No. 548) .
Article 2. All organizations engaged in pressure piping installation within the territory of PRC (hereinafter referred to as “installation organization") shall comply with this regulation in terms of installation permission installation.
Article 3. As for pressure piping installation permission, admission shall be confirmed according to pressure piping category and its level. Pressure piping category and its levels are GA type, GB type, GC type, GD type; see annex A accessory for specific division.
Article 4. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as “AQSIQ”) will be in charge of pressure piping installation permission.
AQSIQ will be in charge of pressure piping installation permission acceptance, examination, approval, issue of certificate of GA type [long distance transmission (oil gas) pipeline belt plug, management working site corrosion prevention task (grade A)], GC1 and GD1 level. Provincial quality technical supervision department will be in charge of pressure piping installation permission acceptance, examination, approval, certificate of other levels within the administrative scope.
“special equipment installation reconstruction maintenance license" (pressure piping installation) is valid for 4 years.
Article 5. AQSIQ will promulgate name list of pressure piping installation permission judgment evaluation institution (hereinafter referred to as “judgment evaluation institution")
