Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 This Regulation is formulated in accordance with the relevant requirements of "Regulations on Safety Supervision over Special Equipment" "hereinafter referred to as "Regulations") in order to strengthen the supervision and administration during boiler installation process, specify the supervision inspection work of boiler installation, guarantee the safety performance of boilers.
Article 2 For the installation of boilers in the specified range of "Regulations" within the territory of People's Republic of China, the installation process shall receive supervision inspection according to those specified in this Regulation.
Article 3 The installation supervision inspection specified in this Regulation refers to compulsory and confirmatory legal inspection for installation process by inspection and detection organization (hereinafter referred to as "supervision inspection organization") approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (hereinafter referred to as "GAQSIQ") based on the qualified self checking of installation organization during the boiler installation process.
Article 4 The criterion of boiler installation supervision inspection work is "Regulation for Safety Technical Supervision of Steam Boiler", "Regulation for Safety Technical Supervision of Hot Water Boiler", "Regulation for Safety Technical Supervision of Organic Hot Carrier Boiler", "Installation and Acceptance Specification for Industrial Boiler", "The Code of Election and Acceptance for Power Plant Construction" (Section of Boiler Unit), "General Code for Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Engineering" and other relevant safety technical codes, national standards and professional standards.
Article 5 All-level quality and technical supervision departments shall be responsible for supervising the implementation of this Regulation.
