Article 1 In order to strengthen the simple pressure vessels safety supervision and administration, and safeguard the safety of life and property of people, this Regulation was formulated according to the relevant requirements of " Regulations on Safety Supervision over Special Equipment".
Article 2 The simple pressure vessels called in this Regulation refers to simple structure pressure vessels with less danger.
Article 3 This regulation is applicable to the simple pressure vessels meeting the following conditions simultaneously:
(Ⅰ) Vessels that consist of drum and flat head, convex head (spherical cap head is excluded), or two convex heads;
(Ⅱ) The material of pressure parts such as drum, head and nozzle is carbon steel or austenitic stainless steel;
(Ⅲ) The design pressure is less than or equal to 1.6 MPa;
(Ⅳ) The volume is less than or equal to 1000 L;
(Ⅴ) The product of working pressure and volumn is larger than or equal to 2.5 Mpa•L, and less than or equal to equal to 1000 MPa•L;
(Ⅵ) The medium is air, nitrogen and the vapour evaporated from medical distilled water;
(Ⅶ) The design temperature is larger than or equal to -20 ℃, and the maximum working temperature is less than or equal to 150℃;
(Ⅷ)Non-directly-fired vessels.
Article 4 This regulation is also applicable to the following connecting pieces connected with simple pressure vessels for grounding:
(Ⅰ) The first thread joint connected by thread used for external pipeline or device, the first flange sealing surface connected by flange, the first sealing surface connected by special connecting pieces or pipe fittings;
(Ⅱ) The pressure-bearing cover of the opening of simple pressure vessel and its fastening pieces;
(Ⅲ) Welded joint connecting non-compression components and the main body of simple pressure vessel;
(Ⅳ) Safety accessories used such as rupture disk (cap), pressure gauge,water meter and thermodetector.
