Scope

The identification of passenger aisle design documents as referred to in these rules refers to the review of whether the safety performance in the design of passenger ropeways complies with the relevant provisions of the special equipment safety technical specifications of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (hereinafter referred to as the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine), including the overall process and identification of major equipment design documents. Before manufacturing, installation, and modification of a newly built or reconstructed passenger ropeway (including modifications that change the main technical parameters), the design documents must be evaluated in accordance with the requirements of these rules. If the selected equipment has passed the design document appraisal in accordance with the requirements of these rules, only other equipment and overall process design documents that have not passed the design document appraisal need to be appraised.
