Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
The WB/T 1104-2020 standard systematically regulates the functional configuration system of refrigerated trucks for the first time in response to the special temperature control requirements of pharmaceutical product transportation. The standard innovatively introduces the dual indicators of total heat transfer coefficient (≤0.4 W/(m²·℃)) and heat transfer, requiring the cooling capacity of the refrigeration unit to be at least 1.75 times the heat transfer capacity.
Classification system of refrigerated trucks
| Temperature category | Identification code | Applicable products | Thermal insulation performance requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2-8℃ | FRG/FRH | Vaccines, insulin, etc. | K value ≤0.4 |
| Below-20℃ | FRH | Biological agents, plasma | K value ≤0.4 |
Key technical requirements
5 core configurations
- Temperature monitoring system: must comply with GSP specifications and have real-time recording and printing functions
- Dual-channel alarm: sound and light alarms are triggered simultaneously when the temperature deviates
- Backup power supply: It is recommended that the refrigeration unit be equipped with an emergency power supply module
- Anti-theft system: the back door should be equipped with electronic lock + physical lock for dual protection
- Verification report: a third-party cooling test report is required
Refrigeration unit selection guide
Stand-alone vs. non-stand-alone comparison
| Type | Applicable scenarios | Battery life requirements | Environmental protection standards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Independent | Gross mass>4.5 tons | Unlimited | GB/T 21145 |
| Non-independent | Short-distance delivery (<300km) | <12 hours | National VI emission standards |
Typical case: Jointown Pharmaceutical Group uses independent refrigeration units in the East China region to realize cross-provincial vaccine transportation, and the temperature fluctuation is controlled within ±1℃.
Implementation Suggestions
Compliance Path
- New vehicle purchases must check the Announcement catalog and 3C certification
- Existing vehicle modifications should focus on upgrading the temperature monitoring module
- Annual verification must include actual measurement of heat transfer (see Appendix A)
New Energy Adaptation
The standard encourages the use of pure electric refrigerated trucks, but it is necessary to ensure:
1) Battery life ≥ 300km
2) Equipped with dual refrigeration system redundant design
