Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
| Test items | Technical indicators | Test cycle | Key equipment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Inherent uniformity | UFOV≤5.5% / CFOV≤4.5% | 6 months | Tc-99mRadiation source |
| System plane sensitivity | ≥60 s-1·MBq-1 | 6 months | Low energy high resolution collimator |
| Slice space resolution | ≤18.7mm | Acceptance test | Capillary point source |
Details of key technical requirements
1. Intrinsic uniformity test
When using the Tc-99m radiation source (activity 20MBq) for flood source imaging, special attention should be paid to the following:
- Data processing adopts a 9-point smoothing filter matrix: [[1,2,1],[2,4,2],[1,2,1]]
- UFOV boundary pixel exclusion rule: pixels with 50% area outside the field of view are not included in the calculation
- Differential uniformity calculation requires 5-pixel sliding window analysis
2. Spatial resolution test
Clinical comparison case
The SPECT acceptance test of a tertiary hospital showed that the FWHM in the X direction and the Y direction were 4.2mm and 4.5mm respectively, which were better than the standard requirement of 5.4mm. However, the visual inspection result of the four-quadrant lead grid method had a deviation of 0.3mm, which proved that the slit method had higher accuracy.
Recommendations for the implementation of the standard
- Acceptance of new equipment must include all 8 tests in Appendix A
- The energy window setting should strictly follow the benchmark requirement of 140keV±20%
- Multi-probe systems need to record the test data of each probe separately
- It is recommended to use the original acquisition matrix (512×512) for stability testing
Analysis of Standard Evolution
Compared with previous versions, WS 523-2019 mainly strengthens the following:
- Added special test requirements for SPECT slice space resolution
- Clarified the sliding window algorithm for differential uniformity
- Include system plane sensitivity detection in the mandatory items
