Introduction

Standard Background and Significance

This standard is based on the "Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases" and the "Regulations on Hospital Infection Management", and was jointly drafted by 10 authoritative medical institutions including Peking University First Hospital. As a mandatory standard for the health industry, its release marks that my country's ward infection management has entered a new stage of standardization.

Core Management Framework

Elements Specific requirements Implementation points
Organizational structure Establish a hospital infection management team The proportion of personnel with the title of attending physician or above is ≥50%
Infrastructure Clear division of clean and dirty areas Bed spacing>0.8m, single row ≤3 beds
Monitoring system 7 mandatory test items Including special monitoring of multidrug-resistant bacteria

Key Control Measures

Standard Prevention Implementation Specifications

Take Sharps Injury Protection as an example:

  • It is forbidden to put the needle cap back on with both hands (the violation rate decreased by 72%)
  • The height of the sharps box is ≤1.5m (ergonomic)
  • Transport in impermeable containers (breakage rate <0.5%)

Disinfection and Sterilization Technical Specifications

Item Type Disinfection Requirements Validity Period
Sterile cotton balls After opening ≤24 hours
Chlorine-containing disinfectant Prepare and use immediately ≤24 hours
Skin disinfectant Mark the opening date ≤7 days

Implementation suggestions

  1. Establish a three-level training system: annual training for medical staff ≥8 hours, quarterly practical assessment for cleaning staff
  2. Equip with intelligent monitoring equipment: ultraviolet intensity detector, hand hygiene compliance monitoring system
  3. Carry out joint inspections by multiple departments: monthly cross-inspections covering all wards
