本标准规定了中国健康老年人标准、评估实施和评估标准。
本标准适用于医疗卫生机构、养老服务机构人员等对60周岁及以上中国老年人健康状态的评估。
Introduction
Interpretation of the core content of the standard
This standard establishes for the first time a three-dimensional assessment system covering physical health, mental health, and social health, using a quantitative assessment based on a percentage system (50 points for physical health + 30 points for psychological health + 20 points for social health). Healthy elderly people must meet 9 basic conditions at the same time:
| Dimensions | Core indicators | Assessment tools | Weights |
|---|---|---|---|
| Physical health | Daily living ability, chronic disease control, etc. | MZ/T 039 scale | 50% |
| Mental health | Cognitive function, depression and anxiety, etc. | GDS-15/GAD-7 scale | 30% |
| Social health | Social participation, support network, etc. | Lubben Social Network Scale | 20% |
Technological evolution and innovation
This standard has made a breakthrough by incorporating the Micro Nutritional Assessment Method (MNA-SF) into the assessment system, and strengthened nutritional assessment through objective indicators such as body mass index and arm circumference measurement. Compared with the previous standards, the main improvements include:
- For the first time, the applicable boundaries of people aged 60 and above are clarified
- A three-level indicator scoring system is established (including 23 specific assessment items)
- Introduction of the Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) Scale
Analysis of implementation points
Example of a typical assessment scenario
The assessment of a 75-year-old living alone in a community showed: physical health 42 points (chronic disease is well controlled), mental health 25 points (GDS-15 score 5 points), social health 15 points (participating in community activities twice a month), and a total score of 82 points, which was judged as a healthy state.
Key points
- Assessors need to complete special training (Standard 6.1)
- The weight of IADL assessment for people over 80 years old is doubled
- Any score of 0 in any dimension is considered unhealthy
Appendix tool application guide
The standard is equipped with 6 normative appendix scales, key points for use:
| Scale name | Applicable scenarios | Critical value |
|---|---|---|
| Micro-nutrition assessment method | Nutrition screening | ≥12 points is normal |
| GDS-15 | Depression screening | ≥5 points abnormal |
| Lubben Scale | Social Support | <12 points high risk |
