Scope

This part of XF 306 specifies the classification, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of plastic insulated flame retardant and fire resistant cables. This part is applicable to plastic insulated fire resistant control cables with rated voltage of 0.6/1 kV and below and plastic insulated flame retardant and fire resistant cables with rated voltage of 450/750 V and below.
