Scope
This standard specifies the test conditions, comparison samples, test items, test methods, and the minimum that should be achieved for the comprehensive performance of the automatic eddy current flaw detection system for steel pipes (generally composed of an eddy current flaw detector, a detection coil, a magnetic saturation device, a mechanical transmission device, etc.) Performance indicators and test report content. This standard is applicable to the comprehensive performance testing of steel pipe penetrating or rotating steel pipe/flat coil automatic eddy current flaw detection systems. It is applicable to steel rod automatic eddy current or magnetic flux leakage flaw detection systems and steel pipe automatic eddy current flaw detection systems using other forms of detection coils.
