Scope

This part specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, certificate of conformity, etc. for cast iron rolls used in hot-rolled seamless steel pipe continuous rolling mills. This section is mainly applicable to the manufacture and acceptance of cast iron rolls used in hot-rolled seamless steel pipe continuous rolling mills. Other rolling mill rolls for rolling steel sections, bars, and wire rods can also be used with reference.
