Scope

This standard specifies the accuracy requirements for graphite electrodes (hereinafter referred to as electrodes) and joints (tapered thread connections), as well as the technical specifications, geometric accuracy, processing accuracy, measurement methods and accuracy of processing machine tools. This standard is applicable to ordinary power, high power and ultra-high power electrodes and joints used for processing electric arc furnaces as conductive materials.
