Introduction

This standard specifies the technical requirements for low-temperature reinforcing steel used in liquefied natural gas storage tanks. It covers material composition, mechanical properties, and testing methods to ensure the steel's performance under extreme cold conditions. The standard also includes guidelines for production, inspection, and acceptance procedures. Additionally, it outlines the necessary markings and packaging requirements for the product. The document is structured to provide clear specifications for manufacturers and users to follow in order to meet the necessary quality and safety standards.
