Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of cadmium, chromium and nickel in cigarette tipping paper - graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of cadmium, chromium and nickel in cigarette tipping paper. The detection limit of cadmium in this standard is 0.009 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification is 0.03 mg/kg; the detection limit of chromium is 0.014 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification is 0.05 mg/kg; the detection limit of nickel is 0.016 mg/kg, and the limit of quantification is 0.05 mg /kg.
