The technology system mainly specifies network structure and organization, numbering plan of signaling point, route selection means, operation, maintenance and administration of signaling network, and basic network-access requirement of signaling transfer point equipment of national No.7 Signaling Network in China.
The technology system is applicable to signaling network for Digital Telephone Network (DTN), Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) and Intelligent Network (IN), intercommunication part of signaling networks for mobile network and fixed network. The provisions in the No.7 Signaling Network for mobile network are excluded in this technology system.
