1. Free space voltage standing wave ratio method
By measuring The standing wave curve of the horn antenna on the longitudinal/lateral/vertical travel line is used to calculate the reflection level according to the formula: R = 20lg(E_r/E_d) = A + 20lg[(10D/20+1)/(10D/20-1)] Where D is the peak-to-valley difference of the measurement curve, and A is the correction value of the antenna pattern.
2. Key points for the implementation of the pattern comparison method
- Test layout: The distance between the transmitting and receiving antennas is ≥2D²/λ (D is the antenna diameter)
- Data sampling: Azimuth interval ≤5°, position movement step ≤λ/8
- Typical judgment criteria: 30°/-60° pattern deviation>3dB requires site recalibration
