Scope
This standard specifies the mechanism for allocating IPv4 address resources to IPv4 users in the IPv6 network using the IPv4 dynamic host configuration protocol in the IPv6 access network, so as to achieve the delivery of address resources across heterogeneous networks. This standard is applicable to the address allocation of the transition mechanism of IPv4-over-IPv6 scenarios such as edge network 4over6 technology and edge network lightweight 4over6 technology.
