Scope

This standard specifies the limits of electromagnetic interference levels generated by telecommunications terminal equipment in the frequency range of 0.15 to 1000MHz and the immunity requirements of TTE. It also specifies the measurement methods of electromagnetic interference and immunity. This standard applies to wired telecommunications terminal equipment such as modems, fax machines, group phones, telephones, and multimedia communication terminals, and serves as the basis for the design, manufacturing, use, and quality inspection of telecommunications terminal products.
