Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the preparation of gold-bearing ore test samples. This standard is applicable to sample preparation for gold-bearing ore beneficiation, metallurgy and other tests. This standard does not apply to sample preparation for gold-bearing ore gravity separation tests and placer gold ore tests.
