Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (or order) content of niobium pentoxide. This standard applies to niobium pentoxide produced by liquid-liquid extraction method and used for the production of niobium powder, superconducting materials, alloy additives, niobium bars and niobium carbide, ceramic capacitors, etc.
