Scope
This section specifies the method for determining the expansion/shrinkage properties of cathode pastes (cold and hot tamping pastes) for aluminum electrolysis during baking. This section is applicable to the determination of the expansion/shrinkage properties of cathode pastes (cold and hot tamped pastes, hereinafter referred to as cathode pastes) during baking for aluminum electrolysis. It can also be used to measure the expansion/shrinkage of cathode and anode green blocks during baking.
