Scope

This section specifies the method for determining the apparent density of carbon materials for aluminum, and also specifies the method for calculating the total porosity. This section is applicable to the determination of the apparent density of carbon materials and the calculation of total porosity using the dimensional method. This method is suitable for samples with simple shapes or regular geometric shapes (cylinder, cube, etc.) and smooth surfaces (contours).
