Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificate and order (or contract) content of deformed aluminum and aluminum alloy round ingots. This standard applies to round cast ingots of deformed aluminum and aluminum alloys (except 4XXX series alloys) for processing such as extrusion and forging.
