Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (or order) content of high-purity bismuth. This standard applies to high-purity bismuth produced by electrolytic refining and zone melting methods. This product is mainly used to prepare compound semiconductors, high-purity alloys, thermoelectric conversion materials, and atomic reactor cooling carriers.
