Scope

This product is a dangerous product and can react chemically with water vapor, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide in the air, and will spontaneously ignite in humid air. This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates and contract (or order) content for battery-grade lithium-silicon alloys. This standard applies to lithium-silicon alloys produced by high-temperature synthesis using high-purity metallic lithium (99.9%) and high-purity silicon (99.99%) as raw materials for the preparation of thermal batteries.
