Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (or order) content for rechargeable batteries (hereinafter referred to as nickel-plated shells). This standard applies Production, inspection and acceptance of cylindrical rear nickel-plated steel shells for various nickel-hydrogen (nickel-cadmium), alkaline zinc-manganese, and lithium-ion batteries.
