Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificate and contract (or order) content for high-purity cadmium. This standard applies to 99.999%~99.9999% high-purity cadmium produced from 99.99% cadmium as raw material and purified by vacuum distillation and other production processes. Products are mainly used to manufacture high-purity alloys, compound semiconductors, as well as infrared detection, photovoltaic cells and other optoelectronic materials and devices.
