Scope

1.1 This standard classifies denture base polymers and copolymers, stipulates requirements and test methods, and stipulates requirements for product packaging, marking and instructions for use. 1.2 The manufacturer does not need to explain the detailed composition of product ingredients. 1.3 The denture base polymers referred to in this standard are as follows: a) Acrylate polymers; b) Acrylate polymers containing substituents; c) Vinyl ester polymers; d) Polystyrene; e ) Rubber-modified methacrylate polymers; f) Polycarbonates; g) Polysulfones; h) Dimethacrylate polymers; i) Polyacetals (polyoxymethylene); j) Copolymers or mixtures of the above polymers.
