本标准定义了描述测量脉冲回波医用诊断系统性能的参数，并给出了测试方法。
本标准适用于在0.5MHz～25MHz超声频率范围内采用单阵换能器的超声诊断设备。

Scope

This standard defines parameters describing the performance of measuring pulse echo medical diagnostic systems and gives test methods. This standard applies to ultrasonic diagnostic equipment using single-element transducers in the ultrasonic frequency range of 0.5MHz to 25MHz. This standard does not apply to Doppler ultrasound systems.
