Scope

This part of YY/T 0809 specifies the fatigue performance of the torque-acting parts and stemmed femoral components of total hip prosthesis under specific test conditions. This section does not apply to the following situations: a) Prostheses for special clinical purposes; b) The midline of the stem is a three-dimensional curve and is not in the same plane as the axis of the neck.
