Scope
This standard specifies the form and nomenclature, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of ophthalmic forceps. This standard is applicable to ophthalmic forceps used for clamping the soft tissue of the eye, rolling out trachoma particles, pulling out inverted eyelashes, removing the lens and clamping cysts.
