Scope
This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for process challenge devices and indicator systems used for steam penetration testing of steam sterilizers with a vacuum stage (pre-vacuum). The vapor penetration test referred to in this standard is based on the regulations of GB 8599-2008 and YY 0646-2008. This standard applies to process challenge devices and indicator systems, including porous load process challenge devices and indicator systems and cavity load process challenge devices and indicator systems.
